Meet Steven

Mr. Anderson began his career as a wildlife biologist, with an emphasis on applying the science of ecology to real world situations. His projects included assisting the San Diego Zoo with captive breeding programs for bears and wolves, working with both the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the National Park Service in Hawaii, and numerous projects with the Nature Conservancy in North Carolina, Wyoming, and California. His twenty years of field research culminated with a three year study of non-native axis deer on the island of Maui for his doctorate in ecology from UC Davis. This was followed by a three year project with the California Energy Commission investigating potential impacts of windmills on birds of prey.

Mr. Anderson is a member of the Financial Planning Association, and a regular participant with the Sacramento Chapter of the UC San Diego Alumni Association. He sits on the Board of Directors for Ecology Project International.  EPI is a nonprofit, educational organization.
